CHIP, an acronym for Coronary Health Improvement Program, is an affordable, medically proven, 1 year lifestyle modification program. It consists of an initial four week program that meets four nights per week. Each evening dynamic and compelling live and video presentations that deliver information, inspiration, and motivation;group discussions; food demonstrations and food samples,; and activities provide the tools and strategies for making lifestyle choices that will stick. Supper and an exercise session are included each night for all participants. At the begining and end of the four week program a health evaluation is done including lab work to determine the initial starting point and the progress made during the Quick Start program. Then for the next eleven months the CHIP participants meet regularly once a week for information and motivation. At the end of one year the lab work is again done to determine the participants longterm success.
This program can give you the tools to change your life. You can reverse your heart disease, diabetes type II, high blood pressure, and obesity. Working with your physician this program can help you make the changes needed to turn your health around.
Dr. Hans Diehl, the program's founder and video speaker, has developed a scientifically sound community health education program that has been proven to work. He has results published in several medical journals. CHIP will not only show you WHY we need to make better lifestyle choices but also HOW to stop the "good life" from killing us. CHIP establishes the principle of health as an absolute necessity rather than a trendy option. It is not natural to be obese and hypertensive, have high cholesterol and triglycerides, and to suffer from diabetes, constipation, heartburn, angina and heart disease.
